Housekeeping

You won’t believe it, but housekeeping is an excellent way of getting some physical activity! Do you remember all the moves you make while cleaning? You continuously move both of your arms and legs while vacuuming and washing the floors. Then you bend down to grab something from the floor, and then you stand up on the tips of your toes and stretch trying to reach that high shelf with books on it, right? Every move you make, every step you take around the house during cooking, arranging the shelves or putting stuff into the washing machine, ironing or checking your wardrobe, you are physically active.

That’s why if you missed your gym visit or think you were inactive for too long, or are having one of those days when you don’t feel like running at all, try to do something around the house instead. It also counts!
