Condoms Don’t Protect Against All STDs

Although condoms are considered to have a 98% theoretical effectiveness, in fact they cannot protect you against all STDs. Some infections and diseases such as pubic lice, syphilis, HPV (human papilloma virus), genital herpes are transmitted not only via sexual intercourse, but through skin-to-skin contact and even through bed sheets or underwear.
